Free-Style Push Hands and Heaven Palm Circle Walking
February 11-13, 2005
The Triangle Jiulong Baguazhang Study Group is proud to announce our first seminar of 2005. In this three-day event, Dr. Painter will present two different aspects of the Daoqiquan art. On Friday evening, February 11th, we will continue our exploration of the moving step push hands game of Anzhangfa (Push Palm Art), the Li family method of free moving martial training (San Shou). Wuxianzhi An-Shou is push hands Li family style, a form of soft free sparring that helps to train the skills of listening jin, sticking jin, sensing jin, pushing jin and uprooting jin.
On Saturday and Sunday, February 12th and 13th, Dr. Painter
will present the next installment of the Jiulong Baguazhang Heaven Palm (Yang Zhang)
curriculum:
- Circle Walking with Dragon Presses Heaven and Earth Taiji Yin Posture.
- Circle Walking with Dragon Presses Heaven and Earth Taiji Yang Posture.
- Big Dragon Turns Around 3 forms with Dragon Presses Heaven and Earth Postures
- Dragon Circles Moon 3 forms with Dragon Presses Heaven and Earth Postures.
- Dragon Whirls in Flight 3 forms with Dragon Presses Heaven and Earth Postures.
- Circle Walking Push Hands Continuing Training with Heaven Posture.
We highly recommend that all those wishing to advance their
knowledge of Jiulong Baguazhang take advantage of this
opportunity. Beginners are always welcome.
