Jin Huoli Qigong: Golden Vigor Qigong
A Seminar With John P. Painter, PhD
The Li family of Sichuan Province taught a special Qigong healing art derived from Daoist and Tibetan Shamanic sources. It is presented as a three part formula. This form makes use of Sitting and Standing meditation and a mantra of the Four Virtues (Si-de) recited while assuming five postures to open and close the Renmai and Dumai Qi meridians. Then the same forms are used while circle walking. According to Master Li, Long-dao these forms played together with the mantra create "Golden Vigor Qigong" (Jin Huoli).
The exercises focus on the Four Virtues, balancing Wuhuo (inner fires) to achieve emotional balance, and to increase and preserve the body's natural energy. Golden Vigor Qigong invigorates the body and mind, bestowing longevity and health.
Beginners welcome.
Dr. John Painter, your instructor, is the heir to the Li family Qigong system. He holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Naturopathic medicine and has over 35 years of experience teaching the internal healing arts. Join him as he explains how to truly practice Qigong in modern, clear terms.
