Luoxuan Qigong: The Spiraling Qigong of Jiulong Baguazhang
A Seminar With John P. Painter, PhD
This potent exercise, known as "Spiraling Energy Skill," or Luoxuan Qigong, develops core strength and a deep connection between the legs, torso and arms for vitality and whole-body power. Luoxuan Qigong is simple to learn, involving specialized standing, square-stepping patterns and twisting yoga-like exercises. This can release tension in major joints, benefit the internal organs, and improve digestion and internal circulation of blood and qi. Luoxuan Qigong can also boost the immune system as it simultaneously strengthens the fascia covering of the torso to enhance protection from strikes and blows received during an attack.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 22nd and 23rd, Dr. Painter will give an intensive seminar on Jiulong Baguazhang movement and combat skills. While this seminar is aimed at practitioners of Jiulong Baguazhang, anyone is welcome, regardless of experience.
